Hugo’s Story

02/03/2021
One date among others, and yet ...

After a few years of unanswered questions, of fear, of a deep feeling of powerlessness, of incomprehension, punctuated by appointments, analyses, examinations, samples, anesthesia...

We come to this date of 2/3/2021, where the diagnosis is made, the word is launched!

4 letters and 1 number!
4 letters and 1 number is the answer to all our questions!
4 letters and 1 number that explains why!

Why my son, the love of my life, began his life in our world in a different way!!

4 letters and 1 number which then explains the power of the following words:
- Orphan disease
- Very rare disease (-100 people worldwide)
- Incurable

“4 letters and 1 number is the answer to all our questions!”

But these same 4 letters and 1 number opens us to the World, makes the borders disappear!
These 4 letters and 1 number make us discover other families, other different paths but which instantly offers us something so precious, which floods the heart with an indescribable feeling a community! Thanks to Iara Neves & Gay Grossman

4 letters and 1 number with whom we must learn to live, to move forward, to continue, to seek, to try…

4 letters and 1 number that leads me to thank the people who supported us, accompanied, surrounded!

First of all my family for its support, its strength and its love without flaws and without limits!!!!

💪💗💪💗💪💗

To those around me for their presence, their listening and their support
To the Morassuti team for their kindness, their support and understanding
To all the people who accompanied and continue to help Hugo (all the speakers of the school, the medical team, the CAMS..)

But above all THANKS to you, boy!
I love you forever! 💙💙
Thank you for your courage, your strength, your love, your smile, your laughter ...
For all that makes you You!

4 letters and 1 number: ADCY5

And especially talk about it with your children!!

Tolerance and caring is about understanding!! So as parents, take the time!

Take the time to explain the differences that make up our world 🌎
